My mother Joan Harrison (back row second from the left) was a member of Neptune Ladies' Royal Lifesaving team. Neptunes were one of the first and longest running female clubs of the Royal Surf Life Saving Society in Queensland. This photo was taken in 1935 when she was 15 years old and the youngest person on the team . #youvecomealongwaybaby.
